Crit Feedback

I will definitely take the comment about the doctors front in to account for my boards, it would be good to see the signage in context.

As for combining E4 and ITV2 brief, I feel its too late in the game now and they are completely different. I definitely think the E4 brief will be substantial enough when I am finished with it.

Chat with Mark Howe

We were feeling a bit lost with the Yearbook, so wondered what Mark's thoughts on the book were:

Camilla Updated Feedback

Crit Feedback

Today's crit was with Robyn R, Will Skane, Pav, Josh, Richard and Charlotte. Most of the feedback I received was from Pav and Robyn.

- They advised me, at this point in the game to forget the Fashion Branding brief, it's too late on for a brief with absolutely nothing. My client has missed 2 meetings with me, and not delivered the required work. Major time lost.

- Storyboards and initial ideas for ITV and E4 brief - as it was hard for people with a non motion background to understand.

- Indiependent work - good to have live charity work.

- St Martins - not a lot to say, client driven, well under way.

- Yearbook - same with that.

* Blogs - I didn't receive any blog feedback, as this wasn't the focus of the discussion.

Fine Art Feedback from Layouts

Fine Art returned the layouts with feedback written on each, the main issue was consistency, particularly with mine, where the text was positioned but this is an easy enough job. *Scan in sheets*

Meeting with Camilla (St Martins)

- After deciding on 3 concepts, she would like us to take them even further.
- Maya: liked handprints, when the logo was smaller it didn't have the same impact, try a different format/variation.
- Me: Colour change, don't like pastel, maybe not 4 people, too traditional. Give an impression of people but not necessarily families.

- 'Interesting shades of normal colours.'
- No pastels.
- Either NHS Blue or needs to work alongside it.
- Take ideas in several directions
- Typeface , more interesting.
- Think about incorporating values: caring, partnerships, openness.
(Circle = openness)
- 12 in clinical team

- Stripes on wall (consider colour)
- T-shirts
- Outside sign
- Business cards
- Comments, complaints and compliments leaflet front.
- Letterheads
- Signage - directional

- Email PDF 13th March

Meeting with Camilla

Camilla wanted to discuss our ideas today, and prompt us on how she would like us to develop them further. Hopefully not too much as we can then get started on designing deliverables...

Lorenzo - Marks feedback

This was incredibly useful - a lot more useful than a paragraph written at the bottom, which summarises the work as a whole - this is a chance to verbally get feedback for each project.

Eye Spy:
- Background work needs to compensate for outcomes - more background work and experimentation to support a short ident.
- Not to dumb down my ideas due to my technical ability, my digital work is growing in confidence but ideas could be more developed.
- Storyboard whole idea - produce what I can.
- Research and concept could be broader - historical background of CCTV.

Your 4:
- Audience not understood.
- Better clarity of understanding.

Serendipity:
- Concept/name interesting.
- Need to understand audience better.
- Not suitable for hospital - legibility.

We didn't discuss my other briefs but these were the most important ones where I think the feedback would benefit me more.
