Indiependent Initial Sketches

Here are some ideas I came up with taking into account the idea of transmission. I will mac these up and have a play around with them.

My first idea takes the existing logo and refines it, the second idea, is similar but the transmission waves go up, as if to suggest moving higher, the corners are rounded here.
The third idea looks at turning a pylon into a letterform, similarly the tittle on the i has been turned into a satellite with the fourth idea.
The fifth idea allows the letterform to be more recognisable as an i but has features from a pylon. The next idea takes the idea of waves of something being transmitted, and I have used the peak of a wave to create the i. The idea after this is a 3D i with transmission waves coming off like a remote control almost.
The eighth idea uses a lightning volt as the i, possibly to symbolise a spark. The next idea was rather experimental, I used three cables to create the i here, and finally the last idea isn't all that good, the tittle has been replaced for a jagged star shape.
