ITV2 Ident: Nail Polish
Straight away the visuals suggest this fits in with the moment in a 21 year olds life: nail varnish, shoes, make-up and jewellery. This is done in a very interesting way.
The clip begins with a medium shot of a dressing table with objects on: make-up, nail varnish, perfume and lipstick on, and the ITV 3d logo is placed in the usual, central/ right position of the screen. A hand comes into the shot and takes a bottle away, knocking over the nail varnish which spills onto the shiny white surface (white world with gloss!). [The voice over begins here] The nail varnish becomes a continuously growing 'tube' with branches off it and the objects attached to it. The branches intertwine with each other and the camera pans backwards and down. Again, I could see Cinema 4D being used here.
It's visually very effective, the colours are bright and vibrant, and the three dimensional element works very well.
